Every year in September, the “Coralis” underwater photography festival gathers culture and nature lovers and the ecology-conscious in Tabarka. Tunisie Voyages can help you follow your passion and take you to the depths of Tabarka's waters with its “Merou” diving centre, located on the beach of one of the most beautiful hotels of the region, the Mehari Tabarka 4*.

 Half- or full-day excursions can be organised to the archipelago of La Galite off the coast of Tabarka, as well as maiden dives and fishing parties.

Here are a few suggestions of diving sites to explore :

The pidgeon cave :

a rocky bottom, 3 to 12 metres deep, on a maiden dive you will go and look for the groupers inside. Sheltered area and calm sea most of the time.

The tunnels :

A 500 metres site with about 20 tunnels you can pass and move through quite freely. From 16 to 24 metres, rocky bed laden with fish and sea creatures of all shapes and colours: gorgogne, sea breams, according to season: sea cicadas, morays, octopi, skates and big groupers.

The “Rocher du Mérou” :

This “grouper's rock” is 50 metres long, 10 metres wide, set on a 33 metres bed, truly an aquarium: 3 to 40 kg groupers and other species will come to meet the divers.
